ICT as Medium for Advocacy
How Information and Communications and Technology (ICT) has transformed the educational methodologies when you were in grade school and now in Senior high school.
A. The singing of national anthem ( form a line, sing the national anthem with conductor)
Back then in grade school as a kid, you don't know how the rhythm it was, you just go for it and not even noticing that you were far away from the tune .
Now in senior high school it is a lot of changes, the student are more mature and less childish, and when singing the national anthem it is more organized and in tune.
B. Concept notes
In grade school they use type writer to make a proposal especially concept notes.
Like the others it needed hard work and efforts to finished a one, because when you make a mistake you will repeat it from the top ,over and over.
But now in senior high school it changed, they use computer and printer, using the words/microsoft word they can easily create proposals, in case of wrong grammar or make any mistakes you can easily edit it...
C. Presentation of visual aids
In my grade school needs hard work, the presentation is in manila paper that manually written, it will take a lots of time in preparing the materials are way too expensive, the pilot ,the manila papers and etc.
But now in senior high school it is easier because of technology if you have a phone or computer you can easily make presentations by downloading a app and needed some time to type the text and editing, you can add some effects ,transitions , it is more effective and organized etc.
D. Class record
A class record book is a document or compilation of documents used by teachers to record enrollment, attendance7 and grade information for students. The class record book may be electronic or manual and is created, updated and maintained in accordance with District and State requirements.
Although class record did not changed alot, teachers using class record same the way of grade school and senior high school, even sometimes they use technology.
E. Class dismissal
Is when the class ends or the teacher declare dismissal.
In grade school the class dismissal is earlier than senior high school, it a bell or a ring that indicates the end of class.
And in senior high school even there are bell if the teacher in charge did not allow students or declare that class dismissed no one will dared or allowed to go out and sometimes over time.
F. Assignment and research
Task and activities that the instructor assign in class.
Back then in grade school our assignments are easy , you can find the answers by reading the book or lessons that your teacher discussed , and we do not do research.
But now in senior high school assignments are ok, I can answer them by reading the lessons and some searching from the internet for clearer informations , but the research are hard, it needed lots of hard work, efforts and understanding because when you not even know how you can't accomplish it.
